Meet The Team

Tom - Co-Founder

Since drinking his first cup 20 years ago, Tom has become somewhat of a coffee connoisseur. He's travelled across the globe searching for the perfect blend of coffee.

Christine - Co-Founder

There's two things Christine loves more than anything, coffee and dogs. In college she spent her time between her favourite café and volunteering at the local dog shelter.

Luna - Chief Treat Officer

After being rescued by Tom and Christine in 2019, Luna has been living every dogs dream coming in to Happy Dog Café every day to greet all our customers and testing all our treats.

Our Journey (So Far)

2015

While on a gap year from college, Tom travels the world and makes it his mission to try as many different blends of coffee he can from all over.

2016

After returning to college, he meets Christine in a local café and they bond over a mutual love of dogs and coffee

2018

Tom and Christine both graduate college and decide to pool their money together to buy a small food van and travel around Ireland selling coffee and homemade treats.

2019

While setting up the coffee van for a stint in Kildare, Christine spots an ad for a dog shelter nearby and they pay a visit. Luna joins the family.

2021

After a couple of years touring around the country in their coffee van, Tom and Christine decide it's time to return home to Cork where they set up the city's only dog-friendly café.

2022

Tom, Christine and Luna celebrate a successful first year in business and set up the Happy Dog Café's walking club for their customers to get out and about with their dogs.
